The OC - Summer/Anna story (WIP)
Written 1/2/05. 48 words.
While I don't quite know where I was going with this, I'm guessing I was maybe going to attempt porn? It would've been my first try at it, I believe, if I'd actually continued this.
When Summer thinks about Seth with Anna, her first feeling is one of righteous anger.
Her second is a hot-all-over feeling that starts deep in her stomach and spreads through her whole body. And if she’s completely honest with herself, it’s not just at the thought of Seth.
The OC - Dead!Marissa story
Written 3/17/05. 41 words.
The title of this kind of makes me laugh, because I'm a bad person. Again, no idea where this was going.
The day Marissa dies is loud. The cars are rumbling on the freeway where her car hits into a tree after she gets drunk and tries to drive home from the bar she goes to after Alex breaks up with her.
For Desire's Sake
The OC. Written 4/21/05. 72 words.
This one has an actual title! Which kind of makes me wish it had gone somewhere, but oh well. Ends in the middle of a sentence. I labeled this as "anti-Seth/Summer," which is pretty much the only sort of pairing I intended for it.
Sometimes desire is just desire, pure and simple. A dream rather than a real want.
Sometimes it’s desire for desire’s sake.
Sometimes Summer Roberts is smarter than she looks.
Seth sighs, flopping down on the pool house bed. “I don’t know, man. I thought everything was going great, but sometimes I look at Summer and wonder why she’s even with me. I mean, it doesn’t make sense, right? Why would a
HP - Mary Evans isn't very hard to find
Written 5/21/05. 117 words.
I'm kind of cheating with this one, as it's slightly over 100 words, but I don't think it deserves its own post, so here it is. This is based on a dream I had wherein the Trio goes to talk to Lily's mother and she tells them all this stuff about Harry's parents and the Marauders and I'm not really sure what happens after that. Obviously, it's totally not canon-compliant, which I realized later (since Harry has no living grandparents). I think that's why I stopped writing it. Also, these notes are probably longer than this WIP. *facepalm*
Mary Evans isn’t very hard to find, once Hermione puts her mind to it. She’s right there in the Oxford phonebook. Hermione’s a little nervous as she makes the call, though someone just walking by wouldn’t be able to tell.
“Yes, who is this?”
“My name’s Hermione Granger. I’m good friends with your grandson Harry?”
There is a long pause in which Hermione wonders if Mrs. Evans has hung up.
“Why are you calling?” The old woman sounds suspicious.
“Well, I just found out you were alive and in Oxford, and I thought you might like to meet Harry. He’s a bit of a wreck right now and could use someone to talk to.”
The OC - The dreams start that first night
Written 5/24/05. 88 words.
Sometimes when I don't know what to save something as before it's done, I just use the first sentence. This was going to be Ryan/Seth, though I have no idea if it was going to be requited or not.
The dreams start that first night. They’re more vivid than any Seth’s had before; he has the thought immediately that something’s different.
Mostly they’re filled with color and abstract, but he can usually make out himself and Ryan – and himself making out with Ryan. That he doesn’t know how to feel about.
He wants to think that it means nothing, that anyone would have dreams like this about their first real friend, but when Ryan mentions similar dreams about Marissa, he knows he has to stop fooling himself.
Harry Potter - Untitled - 3-parter (H/C, gen H POV abt Sirius, & H/D)
Written 1/7/06. 30 words.
As you can see, my ambitions for this one far exceeded what actually came of it. I don't remember anything about it, so the 'title' is really the best indication of where it was going.
Harry doesn’t know what’s wrong with him. In the space of a few weeks, he’s become moody, sullen, angry, irritable – in short, a teenager. (If only it were that simple.)
bandslash - post-2007 carling festival gen fic
Written 8/29/07. 32 words.
The title says it all.
Ryan didn’t see it happen, but he heard it from the other side of the stage, the sickening thud of bottle on skin. For a moment, just a moment, his heart stopped.
untitled panic wip
Written 9/1/08. 113 words.
This is also kind of cheating, since it's just over 100 words, but close enough. It was going to eventually be Ryan/Brendon, and the break-up at the beginning is Ryan & Keltie's break-up, as I started writing this before that happened IRL.
The break-up is mutual and quiet: they just aren’t quite the way they used to be, and they’re both tired of pretending. They agree it will be much less painful if it’s a clean break and they don’t try to stay friends.
For weeks, the rest of the band tiptoes around Ryan. Even Spencer is overly cautious – he’s seen Ryan heartbroken before, but neither of them have ever had to face the end of a serious, long-term relationship, and he’s not really sure how to act. Brendon just gets clingier and deliberately doesn’t mention anything to do with her, but he’s always there, in Ryan’s space, in case he might possibly need anything.
